The StampLove in Families
Almost every stamp collector you meet will tell you a similar story about why they picked up the hobby, and it involves a family member.
Stamp Collector Edward Cahoon says, “I first began collecting stamps as a child because my grandfather gave me a small collection.” Whether it’s the stamp collection you received from your Grandfather or uncle or mother, the passion for stamps is one that continues to be fueled sharing through generations.
The StampLove isn’t only passed down through generations it’s also an activity that can bring a family together. Sitting around with a collection a family can share stories about certain stamps or even talk about historical events they may have been a part of that are represented on stamps. Stamp collecting is the hobby that people of all ages can share and love.
